T2 – Digitalisation & Product Development Partnership

T-2 is one of Slovenia’s leading telecom and digital-services providers. Since 2022, higroup has supported T-2 as a long-term development partner across loyalty systems, customer platforms, smart-city solutions, and other digitalisation initiatives.

Supporting digitalisation across very different products

For a telecommunications company like T-2, digitalisation does not happen inside one application.

Different initiatives can involve customer systems, loyalty programmes, third-party integrations, internal processes, mobility, IoT, and city-scale platforms, each with different users, stakeholders, legacy systems, and technical constraints.

Our challenge has been to become a partner T-2 can bring into these different environments, understand the problem quickly, and take responsibility for moving the technical work forward without requiring a new vendor setup for every initiative.

A development partner, not a project supplier

Our cooperation with T-2 is built around continuity.

Instead of approaching every requirement as a standalone project, we work closely with their digital transformation and product teams, integrating into existing processes and adapting the team to the needs of each initiative.

Depending on the project, our involvement can include product discovery, UX/UI, frontend and backend development, system integrations, testing, and production support.

That model gives T-2 access to additional digital-product expertise while keeping ownership, priorities, and domain knowledge inside their organisation.

Engineering capacity across T-2’s digital transformation

Over the course of the partnership, higroup has contributed to several different digitalisation initiatives.

• /Loyalty systems and integrations — We helped integrate loyalty functionality and other software solutions into T-2’s existing digital ecosystem, including the frontend and backend work required to connect new services with established platforms.
• /Smart-city solutions — Our collaboration has extended into smart-city initiatives, where digital platforms need to connect users, services, infrastructure, and external systems. T-2’s Smart Cities ecosystem spans mobility, IoT sensor data, citizen communication, public services, payments, and third-party integrations.
• /Product development — We support the development of new digital products and functionality as requirements emerge, contributing engineering capacity across the product lifecycle rather than only at implementation.
• /Ongoing digitalisation support — Because the relationship continues across projects, the team retains knowledge of T-2’s systems, expectations, and ways of working, allowing new initiatives to start with significantly less friction.

The result is a long-term development partnership that gives T-2 a trusted external team they can bring into digitalisation projects as needs evolve.

Technology adapted to each digitalisation project

Because the cooperation spans multiple products and integrations, the technology stack varies by initiative. higroup contributes across frontend and backend development, APIs and system integrations, cloud infrastructure, databases, and supporting DevOps technologies, adapting to T-2’s existing architecture rather than forcing every project into one predefined stack.
